بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
80:1
  1. Saheeh InternationalThe Prophet frowned and turned away
80:2
  1. Saheeh InternationalBecause there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].
80:3
  1. Saheeh InternationalBut what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified
80:4
  1. Saheeh InternationalOr be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him?
80:5
  1. Saheeh InternationalAs for he who thinks himself without need,
80:6
  1. Saheeh InternationalTo him you give attention.
80:7
  1. Saheeh InternationalAnd not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified.
80:8
  1. Saheeh InternationalBut as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge]
80:9
  1. Saheeh InternationalWhile he fears [Allah],
80:10
  1. Saheeh InternationalFrom him you are distracted.
80:11
  1. Saheeh InternationalNo! Indeed, these verses are a reminder;
80:12
  1. Saheeh InternationalSo whoever wills may remember it.
80:13
  1. Saheeh International[It is recorded] in honored sheets,
80:14
  1. Saheeh InternationalExalted and purified,
80:15
  1. Saheeh International[Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels,
80:16
  1. Saheeh InternationalNoble and dutiful.
80:17
  1. Saheeh InternationalCursed is man; how disbelieving is he.
80:18
  1. Saheeh InternationalFrom what substance did He create him?
80:19
  1. Saheeh InternationalFrom a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him;
80:20
  1. Saheeh InternationalThen He eased the way for him;
80:21
  1. Saheeh InternationalThen He causes his death and provides a grave for him.
80:22
  1. Saheeh InternationalThen when He wills, He will resurrect him.
80:23
  1. Saheeh InternationalNo! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him.
80:24
  1. Saheeh InternationalThen let mankind look at his food -
80:25
  1. Saheeh InternationalHow We poured down water in torrents,
80:26
  1. Saheeh InternationalThen We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts],
80:27
  1. Saheeh InternationalAnd caused to grow within it grain
80:28
  1. Saheeh InternationalAnd grapes and herbage
80:29
  1. Saheeh InternationalAnd olive and palm trees
80:30
  1. Saheeh InternationalAnd gardens of dense shrubbery
80:31
  1. Saheeh InternationalAnd fruit and grass -
80:32
  1. Saheeh International[As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock.
80:33
  1. Saheeh InternationalBut when there comes the Deafening Blast
80:34
  1. Saheeh InternationalOn the Day a man will flee from his brother
80:35
  1. Saheeh InternationalAnd his mother and his father
80:36
  1. Saheeh InternationalAnd his wife and his children,
80:37
  1. Saheeh InternationalFor every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.
80:38
  1. Saheeh International[Some] faces, that Day, will be bright -
80:39
  1. Saheeh InternationalLaughing, rejoicing at good news.
80:40
  1. Saheeh InternationalAnd [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust.
80:41
  1. Saheeh InternationalBlackness will cover them.
80:42
  1. Saheeh InternationalThose are the disbelievers, the wicked ones.
